Welcome from Pastor Kyle Holloway
Behold, I do a new thing! (Is. 43:19)
We are excited to announce that we are changing our name to Connection Church. It’s our desire to see people connect to God, connect to each other, and connect together in this community to see the Kingdom of God invade this area. Our motto is……..Connect. Discover. Transform. We want to see people connect to God, discover who they are in Christ, and see transformation in every area of life. There are five core values that we will continually strive for in our continuing work of co-laboring together with the Lord to see His Kingdom come and His will be done.
- Experience the presence of God.
Apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:4-5). It’s our desire to see people encounter the presence of God in their lives because ultimately, that’s His goal as well. He wants to be experienced.
- Grow in the word of God
The bible is as alive and relevant today as it was when it was written (Hebrews 4:12). It’s our guide to all matters of life. The same Spirit that inspired the authors of the bible then is the same Spirit that speaks to our hearts today and leads us into the truths of scripture.
- Extend the grace of God
It’s only by His grace. Jesus set an example for us to follow. He could have condemned, but He chose to forgive. He could have judged, but He chose to liberate. Jesus is the greatest of all servants (Mark 10:45) and He tells us to go and do likewise. We are forgiven by God’s grace and then empowered with that same grace to be overcomers.
- Joining in the work of God
God didn’t need us but He wanted us. He doesn’t need our input, but He desires it. It’s His wish that we would co-labor together with Him to bring His world into ours. What a privilege it is to join with Him to see people experience who He is and what He wants to accomplish!
- Connecting with the people of God
Over 50 times in the New Testament we see the phrase, “one another.” We are not called to do life alone but to connect with one another in order to be successful in every area of life. We are stronger when we are connected (Eccl. 4:9-12).
